The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots combined are just short of $1 billion ahead of this week's lottery drawings.

Meanwhile, an estimated $654 million is up for grabs in the next Mega Millions drawing.

The other multi-state lottery game, the Powerball, also has a jackpot with a sizable sum.

If you don't have luck with the Mega millions, maybe you'll have better luck on Wednesday! Friday's numbers were 4, 24, 46, 61, 70 and Mega Ball 7.

The odds of winning Mega Millions are one in 302.5 million, while the odds of claiming the top prize in Lotto Max are one in 28.6 million.

Unfortunately, even as the big prize for Tuesday night's drawing rises to the fourth-largest in USA history, the odds of matching all six numbers and winning the game don't improve.

The winning numbers were 11, 14, 32, 43, and 65 with a Powerball of 15.

The next drawing will be October 17 with the prize of $345 million.
