After appearing as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for six films, Scarlett Johansson has reportedly earned herself a paycheck of $15 million for her upcoming standalone film, says The Hollywood Reporter. Talking about the star cast, it stars Robert Downey Jr, Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch and many other in key roles. She was among the world's highest-paid actresses from 2014 to 2016, has made multiple appearances in the Forbes Celebrity 100, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Brie Larson will reportedly be paid approximately $5 million for Captain Marvel.

Avengers 4 is one of the anticipated films of next year since the third part ends at such a point that it raises your excitement that what will happen next.

It was previously announced that Cate Shortland will be directing the Black Widow solo film but no other details have yet been made official.

Schaeffer recently wrote the female-centric Dirty Rotten Scoundrels remake Nasty Women, and Shortland is best known for dramas Lore and Berlin Syndrome.

Black Widow debuted in Iron Man 2 in 2010 and Johansson's incredible performance was the impetus for greater screen time in subsequent movies.
