Arsenal and Tottenham are targeting Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, according to the Daily Star.

Manager Jose Mourinho has consistently lamented the lack of recruits in Bailly's position during the summer and the 24-year-old could be moved on if the Portuguese gets his way in the next window.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a January offer for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.

The Express claim Pochettino has identified Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele as a priority target and also wants to sign Bailly.

The reminder of the £85m would be spent on Bailly, who United will not let go for less than the £30m they paid for the defender in 2016.

The Ivorian centre back appears to be out of favour at Old Trafford and was hauled off after just 18 minutes of United's win against Newcastle last Saturday.

United have struggled for consistency this campaign and have already registered three defeats in the Premier League.
