Tata Tigor facelift launched; prices start at Rs 5.20 lakh

A little over a year since its launch, the company has now updated the Tigor range with a nip and tuck and feature additions. It comes in 5 variants - XE, XM, XZ, XZA and XZ+ and prices start at Rs. 5.20 lakh for the petrol version and Rs. 6.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel version. It is offered in four grades: XE, XM, XZ and XZ+.

There are no mechanical changes to the facelift and the Tigor continues to sport the same 85hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 70hp, 1.05-litre diesel motor as before.

Checkout the Tata Harrier's all-new 2.0L KYROTECH diesel engine! Headlamp design has been tweaked and a projector lamp has been added to the mix as well. Retaining its coupe-like roofline, the updated model boasts of crystal inspired LED taillamp cluster. The auto comes with black and grey interiors with titanium colour faux leather upholstery and height adjustable driver seat. A rear centre armrest with cup holders is offered as standard across all variants.

Commenting at the launch of this premium compact sedan, Guenter Butschek, CEO and MD, Tata Motors said, "Connecting the aspirations of the customers of the compact sedan segment, we are excited to introduce the new Tigor. The compact sedan is powered by 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.05 litre diesel engine. It comes equipped with automatic climate control and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman that has Android Auto connectivity. The package is further sweetened with the inclusion of power folding wing mirrors, power windows, a shark fin antenna and new alloy wheels.
