Improv artiste Kaneez Surka took to micro-blogging site Twitter to speak up about an incident that has left her feeling "humiliated, shocked and completely stripped of choice".

In the account shared on Twitter, Surka said, "Two years ago, at a comedy show, I was hosting at Andheri Base, in the presence of an audience of 100 and many comedians, Aditi Mittal walked up on the stage and forcibly kissed me on my mouth out of the blue and put her tongue in my mouth, while I was still on the stage and without my consent". Kaneez Surka, a fellow comedian, has accused Aditi of violating consent after she forcefully kissed on her mouth two years ago at a live comedy show at Andheri Base. Kaneez says Aditi kissed her without her consent and later tried to gaslight her by saying it never happened. After CEO and co-founder Tanmay Bhatt and Gursimran Khamba, Mittal is the fourth AIB member after Utsav Chakrobarty to come under the fire of #Me Too movement.

She also added that how seeing her name all over the social media while supporting a campaign that brings out the courage in the victims of sexual misconduct triggered her immensely.

However, Aditi refused to acknowledge the incident, and denied kissing Kaneez.

Surka said she once again spoke to Mittal on Tuesday via a mutual friend to come out with a public apology and let her keep her identity secret. While Aditi has accepted the accusation levelled against her earlier, but now has gaslit Kaneez, when asked for an apology. "Her actions yesterday have further burdened me with the task of having to do this but I don't want to be silent anymore", she wrote.

Surka also said she contacted Mittal this week through a third-party and asked the comedian to issue a public apology. "This is not retribution but for personal closure, " she signed off.

Over the past week, Aditi has been lending her full support to women who have been sharing their respective accounts of sexual harassment caused at the hands of powerful men.
