Miller's body was finally found around noon.

It is not known if the man was with him at the time, as he told the dispatcher he had last spoken with Miller "yesterday".

It's been nearly one week since Malcolm McCormick, better known as Mac Miller, died from an apparent drug overdose. According to TMZ, Miller had been dead for several hours before he was discovered unresponsive inside his Southern California home on September 7.

Citing law enforcement sources, the site said investigators think the San Fernando Valley home was cleared of drugs or paraphernalia before authorities were called.

Mac Miller's friend who called 911 after discovering his body was frantic on the phone, the new recording reveals.

While the cause of Mac Miller's death has been listed as "deferred", more details are surfacing about his sudden passing last week.

He was pronounced dead on the scene and cops noted that it appeared that the house was thoroughly cleaned to hide any signs of drug use. An official cause of death has not been released.

Less than a week after the split, Miller, who has battled substance abuse and addiction since his teens, was arrested for drink driving after he crashed his SUV and fled the scene. He was just 26 years old.
