This is surely any cat lovers dream job - and there's still a chance to apply.

God's Little People Cat Rescue is looking for someone to take over the daily running of their Greek cat sanctuary on the island of Syros.

If, like so many of us, you've been contemplating quitting your nine-to-five, throwing your phone in a river, and packing a single suitcase full of swimwear and sweatpants to go frolic with cats on a picturesque Greek island, well, here's some puuurrfect news.

And as if this opportunity to curl up with the furry animals wasn't enough, the job also comes with a fully paid for residence and private garden along with a salary. "You will have 55 cats in your care and need to be able to overview them all + feed and medicate (big added bonus if you're trained vet. nurse!)".

You'd be required to work only four hours a day taking care of the kitties.

Those looking to apply must also be able to drive a manual vehicle, as that's all that is provided on the island.

'You'll no doubt thrive best if you are the type of person who appreciates nature and likes tranquillity - and rest comfortably in your own company. "That said, you'll never feel lonely in the company of the cats and you'll be expected to live with a small handful of cats in your house".
