Jim Jarmusch has long interwoven genre elements into his elegant, humanist films, with Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Dead Man, and Only Lovers Left Alive serving as some especially resonant examples.

Although there's no official announcement yet, the director has been spotted in upstate NY with Adam Driver, Bill Murray, Selena Gomez, Chloë Sevigny, and Austin Butler filming a new zombie movie. Starring Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, the film focused on two vampires and their estranged romance which spanned across the world and over centuries.

"I've got a good job coming up". For instance, this is the fourth Jarmusch movie that Bill Murray has done, following 2003's Coffee and Cigarettes, 2005's Broken Flowers and 2009's The Limits of Control. It's titled The Dead Don't Die, and it shoots over the summer. The project's apparently filming under the title Kill The Head, which - if I'm being honest - has a much cooler ring to it (sounding like an old punk song that Jarmusch favorite The Stooges might have written back in the day). Brace yourself: It's a zombie movie. While we await more information on his latest film, watch him discuss vampires (and zombies, briefly) with Tilda Swinton below, plus a masterclass, both from New York Film Festival. "But, no, I will not play a zombie". Plus, with this kind of outstanding cast, The Dead Don't Die should be a must-see movie when it gets released (presumably sometime next year). And this will also be a second go-around at the zombie genre for Murray, who made a hysterical cameo in 2009's action-comedy Zombieland.

The rumors about the film were confirmed recently when the Daily Mail posted photographs of Selena Gomez on the set of the film wearing a bloody T-shirt.
