A woman who died inside her Newark garage had reportedly been having sex in a running auto with her mechanic lover when her body was found by her husband on Monday night.

Kahali Johnson identified one of the victims to the police as his wife, Tameka Hargrave. Law enforcement sources believe that his wife was paying the mechanic for his services with sex.

Kahali Johnson, Tameka's husband, told ABC 7 that he found the bodies. he went to investigate in the garage after smelling exhaust, and discovered the bodies, the television station reported. "She's just a few feet away, she's laid out". He told ABC 7 in NY that he smelled a strong odor in his home. Medical crews on the scene pronounced the victims dead at the scene. He said he found his wife on the ground while the mechanic appeared to be looking at the auto. "I don't know what I'm going to do without her", her mother said.

However, NBC New York reported that the two were having sex in a vehicle in the garage when they were found dead. "She was everything to me".

'I just want my mother back.

Johnson told WABC he blames the apartment complex.

Johnson is blaming the apartment complex for not having adequate Carbon dioxide alarm systems.

Police say their deaths are under investigation but it appears to be accidental. As the New York Post reported, the girl's 22-year-old partner turned on the vehicle so the couple could keep warm, and she was overcome by carbon monoxide.
