But cops said in the arrest report that it was Daniels who was "forcing the faces of patrons into her chest and using her bare breasts to smack the patrons" - and then did the same thing to both male and female cops.

A person who answered the phone at Sirens declined to comment.

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels was recently arrested after performing in a strip club in Colombus, Ohio. OH law prohibits anyone who isn't a family member from touching a nude or semi-nude dancer.

She was released on bail before 6am on Thursday.

Avenatti shared an official statement from Daniels on Twitter as well: "As a result of what happened last night, I will unfortunately be unable to go forward with tonight's scheduled performance".

Columbus police said Daniels' arrest wasn't a first.

Stormy Daniels is pictured during an interview with Anderson Cooper about her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

Early Thursday morning, Avenatti, tweeted, "Just rcvd word that my client @StormyDaniels was arrested in Columbus Ohio whole performing the same act she has performed across the nation at almost a hundred strip clubs".

Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said Thursday morning on MSNBC that police had set up a "sting operation" at Sirens strip club, where Daniels was performing. "We will vehemently contest all charges".

CNBC's Rosenfeld also added, "Avenatti told NBC News that he was of the understanding that there were multiple undercover vice officers in the club during Daniels' show".

Daniels's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, says she will plead not guilty to all counts.

Her initial lawsuit against Trump was for not signing their initial "hush agreement", and she insisted she only wanted to speak out about her affair, and so was attempting to find a way that would legally protect her in doing so.

She also allegedly grabbed an undercover officer's face and pressed it between her breasts, CNN reports.

A Columbus police spokeswoman didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment. The president has denied an affair occurred.

He initially said he used his own money to pay Daniels and was not reimbursed by the president.
