Liverpool are pushing to close the signing of Stoke City attacker Xherdan Shaqiri before they leave for their preseason tour overseas.

Following Stoke's relegation, Xherdan Shaqiri looks to be on the move, so we've taken a look at some of his best moments from last season.

Shaqiri does have a release clause but the exact details are unknown at this stage, though the fee is believed to be higher than the widely reported £12m.

Shaqiri has indicated that he wants the move which should be sealed before the Reds head off to the United States as part of their pre-season plans.

Shaqiri's World Cup campaign ended with Switzerland last week and he has indicated his next destination will be revealed soon.

Ojo, who spent past year helping Fulham win promotion to the Premier League scoring four goals in 22 appearances despite being sidelined for a time by a dislocated shoulder, has impressed already in pre-season.

Naby Keita and Fabinho are the only two major signings made by the Reds so far this summer.

Shaqiri joined Stoke in 2015 from Inter Milan before going on to make 84 league appearances for the club. Liverpool have been trying to reignite a deal despite a hands-off warning issued before the World Cup.
