Buckingham Palace say the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will miss the christening in a decision which was mutually agreed by the Queen and the Cambridges some time ago. Later this week, she will host President Donald Trump for a meeting at Windsor Castle. During the ceremony, his seven godparents were also named, including Prince William's cousin Zara Tindall and many of their closest friends.

PRINCESS Charlotte issued a cheeky remark to royal snappers as she stole the show for the second time today at Prince Louis' christening.

Prince Louis was decked out in the same christening gown that Prince George and Princess Charlotte have worn before him.

The final guests were the young prince's six godparents and their spouses, all of whom are friends or family of the Duke and Duchess.

In one photo, Prince George and Princess Charlotte can be seen pressing their faces to the window, watching the event unfold.

Charlotte drew further attention at the wedding of her uncle Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Britain's Prince Charles, Prince of Wales (R) and Britain's Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrive for the christening.

He was once mistakenly tipped to be a godfather to Prince George in 2013, saying then: "I love babies and I have calmed down quite a bit socially now". He helped organize William's bachelor party and is married to an American, Holiday Inn heiress Lizzie Wilson.

Harry Aubrey-Fletcher: He went to Ludgrove School and Eton with William and his father is the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.

The Lady Laura Meade is married to James Meade, also one of William's oldest friends. The two attended Eton together, and he was an usher at William and Kate's 2011 wedding.

The Carters live in Norfolk county, reportedly near Anmer Hall, which is where the Duke and Duchess have a country home.

Princess Charlotte even managed to give her signature royal wave on the way to the reception (despite the aforementioned giant piece of paper in hand), meaning she hasn't forgotten her duty to the people and the royal crown. Looking radiant as she carried her third child, asleep in her arms while clad in his storied christening gown, the proud mom kept with her sartorial tradition as she turned up in a cream Alexander McQueen ensemble and a Jane Taylor headpiece.
