Sadio Mane insists he is happy at Liverpool amid interest from Real Madrid.

The Senegal star scored Liverpool's equalizer in the Champions League final against Real last month, but they ended up losing 3-1 to the LaLiga giants.

It was suggested in France that Mane had agreed to join Real before Zinedine Zidane's resignation.

Speaking to Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten, Mane was quizzed on the recent report but played down talk of a move to the side that denied the Reds a sixth European title last month.

"But you never know what will happen in the future".

However, Mane did add the caveat that he wants to start winning trophies in the near future, something Liverpool haven't been able to do under Jurgen Klopp. Now it is time to play with Senegal (and have) a good and successful World Cup.

Senegal meanwhile begin their campaign in Russian Federation against Poland on Tuesday 19 June with the issue of Mane's club future like to be put to bed for the time being.

"As I said, I am happy in Liverpool". I don't feel any pressure.

Liverpool launched their "deep violet" away kit on Thursday and defender Virgil van Dijk said: 'We have the best travelling support in football and I'm excited to run out in front of our fans wearing this strip'.

"I also do not see myself as a superstar, but as part of a team that wants to achieve a lot in the World Cup".
