Anthony Martial has decided he wants to leave Manchester United, according to his agent.

Martial has grown increasingly disillusioned under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and will seek a transfer this summer in what could prove a potential collision course.

Philippe Lamboley told French media that although United want to keep the France global, they have failed to agree on a new contract with the player.

Anthony Martial's agent confirms that the French winger wants to leave Manchester United this summer. There are many possibilities, for now it is premature to talk about.

Philippe Lamboley claims United want to extend Martial's deal and do not want the Frenchman to leave.

"Manchester United will have the last word and that we will respect the decision of the club, he will go to the end of its commitment".

Tottenham are also interested, and Martial has intimated that he would be prepared to move to White Hart Lane, though United would rather he was sold overseas.

"However, we do not have the same vision on Anthony's future".

"Anthony has a choice, I cannot say anything else on this subject at the moment but you can imagine that the moment that a player like Anthony comes onto the market, lots of clubs are interested. Today, Anthony is disappointed because he has shown for three seasons the love he has for the club and its supporters". "Anthony just wants to play, to feel happy and connect with his coach, that is essential". It is important to remember that this season he scored 11 goals and gave ten assists in five months. He brought Alexis Sanchez in January, limiting Martial's game time even further, infuriating the fans and the player alike.

Sky Sports have also reiterated reports that Tottenham are poised for a transfer after this week's comments.

"Everyone will have their opinion but I think he needs to resume his career".

In May, Mourinho questioned both Rashford and Martial when the pair started and failed to score during a 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.
