Arsenal to face Chelsea in Dublin International Champions Cup clash

Arsenal added in a statement: "We can also confirm that we will be playing a pre-season friendly in Stockholm on Saturday, August 4".

The teams had originally been scheduled to face each other in Stockholm on August 4, but those plans had to be changed because FA Cup winners Chelsea play in the Community Shield that weekend.

The Blues will play three European International Champions Cup fixtures ahead of the 2018/19 campaign in what will be their fifth time competing in the International Champions Cup, but the first time they compete in Europe.

They have also announced a friendly against Lyon at Stamford Bridge on August 7, two days after the Community Shield against Manchester City at Wembley.

A game against Sevilla was originally set for July 28 in Warsaw, while the friendly with Lyon was previously set to be hosted in Gothenburg.

Sky Sports is reporting that both of the London clubs are keen on a move to bring the 26-year-old to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester City also interested in a deal.

Information from ESPN FC's Chelsea correspondent Liam Twomey was used in this report.
