Unborn baby of Hawaii actress Ruthie Ann Miles, who lost daughter in New York crash, dies

Ruthie Ann Miles, an award-winning Broadway actress whose four-year-old daughter was killed in a Brooklyn auto crash in March, lost the baby she was pregnant with last week, a lawyer for the family told the New York Daily News on Wednesday.

The actress whose daughter was fatally struck by a driver in Park Slope lost the baby she was pregnant with at the time of the crash, her lawyer said Wednesday. Blumenstein, who was critically injured in the crash, lost her child on Friday. "The pain suffered by Ruthie and Jonathan is almost impossible to fathom".

The baby girl was due this month.

In March, Miles and her daughter, Abigail Blumenstein, were hit when a driver ran a red light in Brooklyn, New York City.

Miles' 5-year-old daughter, Abigail, and Joshua Lew, 20 months old, were killed when a woman reportedly had a seizure behind the wheel of a auto which rolled into a crosswalk and struck the pedestrians.

The driver of the auto, Dorothy Bruns, was charged with manslaughter.

Dorothy Bruns, 44, from neighboring Staten Island, has been charged with manslaughter after allegedly ignoring her physician's orders not to drive.

She claims she had a seizure.
