James Ransone & Andy Bean Join 'It: Chapter Two' – Update

It: Chapter 2 has officially found its adult Eddie Kaspbrak in James Ransone. Andy Bean has just been added to the cast of the sequel to play the adult version of Stan Uris, who was portrayed by Wyatt Oleff in the 2017 hit horror film, Variety reports. James Ransone may not be a household name by any means, but he certainly looks ideal to play Eddie and he's the kind of character actor who can bring something people may not be expecting to the role. Last we heard Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, and James McAvoy had all signed on to play the grown up versions of Bev, Richie, and Bill respectively. The tweet included a photo of Jack Dylan Grazer's Eddie, wearing his "Loser"/"Lover" cast from the first film.

Meanwhile, Bill Skarsgard will reprise his role as Pennywise from the first movie. The sequel will bow on September 6, 2019, with production expected to start this summer.

Director Andy Muschietti is back to direct, with Gary Dauberman penning the script. "Chapter Two" will follow the last half of the novel, when the characters return to their hometown years later as adults to face Pennywise once again. The film earned over $700 million at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing horror movie of all time.
