Epic Games was quick to fix the issues, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come for this particular quirk.

Taking to Twitter, Epic Games confirmed the update would be delayed which will affect some of the new challenges, writing: 'We've discovered an issue that's going to delay the release of v4.2. "Due to this delay some quests may not function until the build releases", the support team message confirms.

As soon as the patch notes do officially roll out, we will update you with everything new in the update.

The new patch is set to deliver a new weapon in a Burst Assault Rifle, while you can check out the list of new weekly challenges below.

Anyone who's diving into this week's Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges will know that one of the requirements is to watch a match replay. Now there is no ETA for the downtime or the patch, so we're just going to have to wait and see.

Epic Games are looking to keep all platforms on par with each other, so it makes sense that the development team would want to get everything right on iOS.

No reason has been given for today's delay, or how long it might last. There hasn't been an update on when this downtime will now take place, though Epic has stated that it will be informing players when the developer has a time nailed down.
