Cold, wet weather was the victor again at Comerica Park, as the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees had both games of their doubleheader postponed.

The two games have been rescheduled as a part of a doubleheader on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Detroit.

Game 2 was still scheduled for 7:10 p.m. There was no immediate word on a makeup date.

Robertson's concession was agreeing to a split-doubleheader, which the Tigers insisted on because they want two home gates. Tickets from Saturday's game are valid for the game Sunday night.

This weekend was the Yankees' only scheduled trip to Detroit this season.

The Yankees' trip to Detroit was the second stop on a two-city roadtrip that began with two losses in three games last week in Boston. Tickets from Sunday's postponed game will be valid for the make up game that is yet to be announced.
