All of these additions will be introduced in the top-spec Titanium+ variant of the SUV. The reports show that the new variant gets a sunroof and some minor added features. There have been no announcements made by Ford, but the expected price is around Rs 12 Lakh.

Last month, Ford India launched the top-of-the-line EcoSport Titanium+ Petrol variant and it received a five-speed manual gearbox, bigger 17-inch alloy wheels and six airbags for enhanced safety. However, recently at a dealership in Kerala, the new variant was spotted. The current top-end variant is Titanium +, which is priced at Rs 11.35 Lakh (ex-showroom). If the Titanium S is priced so high, it falls in the same segment competing with Hyundai Creta.

The cosmetic additions that will be introduced in the new Ford EcoSport include a sunroof, smoked headlights, blackened grille and a newer alloy wheel design that looks similar to the one offered in the global markets. The new instrument console features chrome rings around the speedometer and tachometer. The centre stage on the dashboard is taken by the new signature floating touchscreen infotainment system, which will come with Ford's SYNC3, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Ford Eco Sport Titanium S variant blacked out roof

As for the exterior, the Ford EcoSport Titanium S grade comes equipped with two-tone front bumper, a mean looking front grille adorning the Canyon Ridge colour scheme, black painted roof nearly bringing a piano black finish, smoked out headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights integrated on to it, new sporty five-spoke alloy wheels finished in grey colour. The vehicle gets a blacked-out roof, a rear spoiler and roof rails.

Visually, the EcoSport Titanium S variant comes with a host of cosmetic updates, compared to the standard facelifted EcoSport, to go with the "S" suffix.

As there have been no official announcements, the powertrains and engines specifications are not know yet. While the 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine is likely to be the one that will get the new 6-speed manual gearbox, the petrol variant, which is powered by the new 1.5-litre engine from the Dragon series might only come get the 6-speed automatic transmission.
