Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said Nash will take the warmup, and the plan is for him to play.

David Pastrnak's six-point night not only powered the Boston Bruins to a 7-3 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference First Round at TD Garden on Saturday, it broke a record held by Wayne Gretzky. "We know there will be some rust, but once they're clear to go they'll get all the work that they can handle". That also matches the National Hockey League record for the most points by a player through the first two games of a postseason, tying Esposito's mark from 1969. He's been out since March 31 with the injury. Pastrnak is the first to do it in a playoff game since Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux scored three goals and had three assists against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 2 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. He did take a shift two minutes after Bozak scored, but then spent nearly the rest of the game on the bench, taking just two shifts in the third period.

The 35-year-old veteran center was acquired in part because of his playoff experience and with Kadri suspended for the next two games, Plekanec will take up the suspended center's spot between Marleau and Mitch Marner.

Cassidy also said defenseman Matt Grzelcyk did not participate in the pregame skate and is doubtful for Game 3 with a lower-body injury.
