McGraw's wife, singer Faith Hill, later came out to tell the audience he could not continue with the performance. Hill also performed a capella rendition of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". After her performance, the guests were ushered out of the venue.

An eyewitness told E! Tim fell to his knees before getting escorted off the stage. Shortly after, there was an announcement that there was a medical issue and to be patient. McGraw had just finished performing his song "Humble and Kind" during his co-headlining set with Hill when he dropped to his knees, then sat down onstage and needed assistance getting up and offstage.

Following a break of about 20 minutes, Hill came to the front of the stage, flanked by her and McGraw's band members, and explained that McGraw would not be coming back out - a decision made by Hill. "The crowd was really anxious, like, 'What just happened?'" the eyewitness said.

One person from the audience named Del Crooks told the BBC, McGraw's collapse is "a bit of a shock". The spotlight on the venue was quickly turned off, as staff and the band assisted McGraw off the stage. "So drink water, people, keep yourself hydrated".

A rep for the singer revealed that McGraw is doing well.

"He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon".
