Marqise Lee went from injury-prone to Jaguars' most reliable receiver

Report: Jaguars expected to re-sign wide receiver Marqise Lee

Report: Jaguars expected to re-sign wide receiver Marqise Lee

The move brings back one of Jacksonville's top receivers after Allen Robinson agreed to sign with the Chicago Bears early Tuesday morning. The circumstances will make it hard for Lee to take a big step forward from what he did the past two years.

The Indianapolis Colts look as if they are prepared to take a hit to their wide receiver corps as it is now being reported that Donte Moncrief is heading to Jacksonville.

The 2014 third-round pick showed promise during each of his first three seasons in Indianapolis, but with quarterback Andrew Luck out for the entire 2017 campaign, he struggled to build a rapport with replacement Jacoby Brissett, who favored T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle. Last season he caught 26 passes for 391 yards and two touchdowns.

The Jaguars suffered a rash of injuries at receiver past year that held them to bottom-16 numbers in both receiving yards and touchdowns. The Jaguars were expected to be active in the free-agent wide receiver market given the amount of interest Robinson had been generating when the Jaguars opted not to give him the franchise tag.
