It will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it will be the second Jurassic World game we're getting after the recently announced Jurassic World Alive mobile game.

Frontier has now released a new Jurassic World Evolution trailer featuring Jeff Goldblum, who informs us that his character Dr. Ian Malcolm will be our guide as we put together our ill-conceived abominations against god and man.

Unlike other Jurassic Park video games from over the years that took a side-scrolling action or first-person shooter approach to the material, the upcoming game is a theme park simulator with a prehistoric twist.

Much like Operation Genesis before it, Jurassic World Evolution will allow players to build their very own version of the iconic film franchise's theme parks, albeit with a modern day makeover and the various new scientific upgrades featured in Jurassic World. You can see his full thoughts in the video above, but it does look promising so far and we'd never say no to more Doctor Ian Malcolm! He's been through all this before, after all. It gets ten Goldblums out of a possible ten Goldblums.

Goldblum first appeared in 1993's Jurassic Park and is also returning to the role in the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which hits cinema's this June.

Jeff Goldblum returns to Jurassic World in more ways than one.

As of the time of this writing, Jurassic World Evolution now does not have a release date, but we know that it'll be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

If you aren't familiar with Frontier Development's Elite Dangerous, think of it as the ultimate space sim.
