Here’s our First Look at ONRUSH

Recently we got a release date, as Codemasters revealed that it will release June 5, 2018, and now we've got a brand new trailer showing off more gameplay.

Take a look at this new trailer below and tell us what you think. Codemasters hired its employees after the studio shut down in 2016.

Earlier today, the developer dropped its latest look at the gameplay, which offers a brief but chaotic look at the variety of vehicles and environments that the racer has to offer. This is just as much an action game as it is a racing game, and it's going to focus hard on tricks, takedowns, and crashes.

As you can see, this is not a straight forward, around-the-track, three-lap racing game. Players will get a chance to try out Onrush for themselves in May, when Codemasters will hold an open beta.

You'll use various different vehicle types, such as the Blade, Vortex, Outlaw, Charger, Interceptor, Dynamo, Titan, and Enforcer.

There will be eight vehicle classes in Onrush and each one will have its own "unique style, feel, and advantages".

"These unique attributes will be key to RUSHing your team to victory, especially in online competition; where tactics are key", the developer explained. Some are more for offensive-minder drivers, and others are for support so you can keep your team locked and loaded on the path to victory.
