Southwest Airlines plans at the airport

New daily nonstop service between Bradley International Airport and St. Louis, Missouri, will begin on Southwest Airlines in August.

"This is great news for our region because Hartford was one of our top priorities for new service", said STL Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.

Southwest Airlines will start nonstop service from the Cincinnati-Northern International Airport to Denver starting August 7. "Southwest is the second largest carrier in Denver, and we're confident the CVG-Denver route will be a great addition to the Southwest network". "The demand is there between our regions with a number of business connections like insurance, higher education, research and science fields". The inbound flight will arrive in St. Louis at 12:45 p.m. A year prior, Southwest operated 105 daily flights to 42 destinations.
