Though he has worked with many top actors in the past, his association with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has been the most fruitful one. Deepika and Ranveer, however, understand that if they agree to a three-film deal, they are bound to him for six more years of filming.

According to a source, "Bhansali has not just been bowled over by their performances but also enamoured by the dedication shown by these actors".

The Asian Age reports that Ranveer and Deepika have signed a three-film deal with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. "I think it was very gracious of them to give so much to this film and I am so happy that together we get to celebrate the success but like I said, it's not over as in the weekend more people will go to watch our film", Deepika said here on the sidelines of Volare Awards 2018.

Incidentally, the filmmaker recently told ANI that he was "not done" with Deepika yet.
