Mum-of-three Christine, 29, took to Twitter following the emergence of the photos, which showed Paddy, 44, arm-in-arm with All Saints singer Nicole during an evening out in Soho, London on Friday.

Yesterday morning, she posted a cryptic message on Twitter, saying: "When you realise you deserve so much more, that's not a bad thing".

She then took to Instagram a day later to share a quote credited to Marilyn Monroe reading: 'I believe everything happens for a reason.

"People leave so you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they are right".

"You believe lies so that you will eventually learn to trust no-one but yourself".

Paddy and Christine revealed past year that both Leo and Penelope were diagnosed with autism in November 2016, and Christine spoke in a moving Instagram post of how she'd encourage them to "embrace" the condition.

The pair - who both call presenter Holly Willoughby a friend and share a similar friendship circle - appeared at ease in each other's company.

Spotted exiting a bar, Nicole had her arms linked through Paddy's although when Paddy spotted the photographers, he moved out of sight.

After his boozy night out in London, Paddy tweeted: "Can't beat a bit of live telly after a night on the lash" and admitted when asked that he was "still a bit squiffy".

After his late night display, a source told the newspaper: 'It was a bit naughty of Paddy going on the booze when he knew he was doing TV the next morning, but he still did well'.
