Utah F Sefolosha facing season-ending surgery

The Utah Jazz have been ravaged by injuries to key contributors on the roster this season, which is a trend that has continued on Saturday afternoon.

Sefolosha did some work on the sidelines Friday night before being ruled out with what the team called a right knee sprain. He averages 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds.

Gobert has been out since December 15 with a sprained left knee, and an evaluation Saturday revealed that he'll need at least another 7-to-10 days before returning to full-speed work.

Gobert (knee) will miss at least another week, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports. Utah is now 17-25, sitting in 10th place in the Western Conference.

All of this could result in some shuffling on the roster to push them in the right direction heading into the second half of the season.
