An American porn star has claimed that Donald Trump tried to persuade her to "have some fun" with him and another sex worker, the Daily Beast reported Friday.

The two reportedly met at a July 2006 celebrity golf tournament on the shore of Lake Tahoe.

"Stormy said she met Donald Trump and then tells me about the golf tournament and how she's supposed to hang out with him later that night, and she invited me", Evans is quoted as saying.

Evans said that later that evening, she received four or five phone calls from Daniels asking her to "join the party".

The Wall Street Journal says Cohen arranged a $130K payment to Stephanie Clifford, whose stage name is "Stormy Daniels", a month ahead of the election. "Let's have some fun!'" Evans said. Come to the party, we're waiting for you'.

"And I was like, 'OMG it's Donald Trump!' Men like him scare me because they have so much power and this was way before his presidential nomination", she said. "So I bailed on them and turned my phone off". According to the Daily Beast, Evans said that Daniels then told her that Trump offered her the keys to his condos in Florida. At the time of the reported incident, the president was married to Melania Trump, while Clifford was considered one of the adult-film industry's biggest stars.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump's lawyer arranged a $130,000 payment for Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, as part of a nondisclosure agreement that was completed a month before the 2016 US election.

On Friday afternoon, the White House issued a statement calling the Journal's story "old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election".

In October 2016-the same month as the agreement between the president and Clifford was reached-the Washington Post a video filmed by NBC's Access Hollywood where Trump spoke of groping women.

Speaking during a Los Angeles news conference in October, accompanied by the high-profile discrimination lawyer Gloria Allred, Drake said, "He flirted with me and invited me to walk along the golf course with him", adding that he asked her to his hotel room. She went along with two other women, Drake said. "When you're a star, they let you do it, you can do anything ... grab them by the pussy".

"What do you want?"

Clifford did not comment directly to the Journal, and Clifford's lawyer declined to comment. No article ever appeared.

In all, Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct in 19 cases, and has denied all of the claims as lies.
