Nick Foles makes his fourth start.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons, 15-10, on Saturday to advance to the NFC Championship. It's just all of us, though. Foles eventually made some throws, but got off to a bad start.

Oh wait, that's Tony Dungy. But for the purposes of deciding whether Foles was destined only to be a punch line, they would do.

He played up the angle that everyone outside of his locker room thought the Eagles' chances of winning the NFC title hobbled off the field at the L.A. Coliseum on December 10 along with quarterback and MVP candidate Carson Wentz. And when it comes to that, it was a tale of two halves for the Foles and the offense.

Not just in this locker room.

"He did a really nice job executing the game plan how we and how I know Nick can". That's what it's always been about. Just answering questions, and just hearing about it. The Eagles weren't happy about it leading up to Saturday.

While Foles said the wind wasn't a factor, his receivers said otherwise. Nick Foles, who's been terrible in the first half (stats notwithstanding), threw the ball right to Neal. "We believe that we still have 21 other guys out there".

"Nick is Nick, and that's what we've talked about and that's what he and I have talked about", Pederson said.

That was exemplified against the Eagles (14-3), who like the Falcons sputtered in the red zone.

Mistakes hurt the Eagles in the opening half.

It's hard to imagine - perhaps unfathomable, even - that any Philadelphia fan was sporting a new Foles jersey.

And, sometimes, a saving grace.

All in all, he played like a feature back, and the Eagles should keep feeding him the ball next week in the NFC Championship. That includes a game-winning 61-yarder against the Giants in Week 3. Foles, whose struggles over the final two weeks of the regular season were a big reason the Eagles were home underdogs, finished 23 of 30 for 246 yards with completions to eight different players. I think that is good.

The Falcons, last year's NFC champions, had trouble getting off the field in the second half. Well, you are in luck as the Eagles have just announced that tickets will be going on sale this week!

At times, Foles was fantastic.

A cagey first quarter featured just one score, Matt Bryant's 33-yard field goal following an 11-play drive by the Falcons. They were the class of the entire league, succeeding on both sides of the ball and dominating most everyone in their path.

Eagles running back Jay Ajayi also strung together a few highlight plays to provide a spark out of the backfield for his offense, totaling 98 yards on 20 touches.

Ryan was hardly dominant, going 22-of-36 for 210 yards and one touchdown.

But at least he didn't go bust.

Chris Long was also seen wearing a mask.

"In a close, low-scoring ball game, a turnover is huge, and he didn't do those things". Ronald Darby. Each had key plays when the team needed them to.

For his Philadelphia teammates, Foles delivered about what was expected. He spent this season as the Bills vice president of player personnel.

There were too many bumps along the way, the Eagles losing two of four fumbles, their kicker missing another PAT attempt, for the game film to be sent to Canton.

The day began harshly for the Eagles.

With the franchise's first playoff victory in nine seasons, the Eagles clinched a spot in next weekend's NFC Championship Game and moved one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl. We believe in him and he believes in us and that's our approach.
