The flu vaccine was a norm for the Needham mother and her two little boys, ages 9 and 7, but Ching said he wasn't sure if his wife got the shot this season.

Doctors diagnosed her with influenza.

The mom, who was from Needham, died on January 5.

"What kind of dedicated, tireless, loyal person works for the same establishment - New Garden - for over 30 years?" said her friend, Jim Healy, Ching's longtime friend and lifelong resident of Needham, as he delivered a moving eulogy at the funeral before the crowded church.

"I can't believe it because she was so healthy", said Raymond So, the owner of New Garden. "She was so happy and driven". "Please keep Jenny and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this hard time".

Her wake on Wednesday reportedly drew hundreds of people.

Tom Keating, a veteran, posted, "Such an outpouring of support for the Jenny Ching family tonight".

"Waited out in the cold for 45 mins, been inside for another 45 mins and still only halfway thru the line".

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Ching's children and family.

She leaves behind her husband, Matt Ching, and their two young sons.
