Trust premieres on March 25, watch the trailer below.

"Inspired by actual events, Trust delves into the trials and triumphs of one of America's wealthiest and unhappiest families, the Gettys".

A rich family. A wealth of problems.

The show will tell the story over multiple seasons, and will begin in 1973 with the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III by the Italian mafia in Rome.

The abductors expected a rich ransom - because who wouldn't pay for a loved one's return? Would you install a payphone at your mansion like J. Paul Getty did? Hillary Swank and Michael Esper also star as Gail and J. Paul Getty Jr.

Brendan Fraser, Anna Chancellor, Norbert Leo Butz, and more also feature.

A new trailer for Danny Boyle's upcoming TV series Trust has arrived online. This time, however, rather than bring in FX Networks mainstay Ryan Murphy, the powers that be have brought in director Danny Boyle, along with his frequent collaborator Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) to offer what looks to be a darkly comic take on the ultra rich family, starting with the infamous kidnapping to which the Getty name will forever be linked. The show is produced by FX Productions, Cloud Eight Films, Decibal Films and Snicket Films Limited.

A Ridley Scott-directed film about the same story was released at the end of past year called All the Money in the World, which famously replaced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer after Spacey was accused of sexual harassment.
