Sami Khedira Wants Juventus To Sign Emre Can

Sami Khedira suggests that Juventus should try to sign Liverpool midfielder and fellow Germany worldwide Emre Can at the end of the season.

The Germany global continues to be heavily linked with a switch to reigning Serie A champions Juventus at some stage, with his contract at Anfield running down.

"I know Emre very well", Can told Sky In Italy.

Can is reportedly on course to join Juventus in the summer when his contract runs out, and Khedira - whose place could come under threat with Can's arrival - insisted that the 23-year-old signing for I Bianconeri would be something of a coup.

Coutinho was brilliant in December for Liverpool, and Klopp may have been aware that keeping him for the rest of the season against the player's wishes could have seen a situation very similar to Alexis Sanchez and Arsenal, where the player's form has taken a sharp dive, and could end up affecting the squad morale. He is a young player, he can improve of course, he is powerful and is talented but of course he has to learn. "He'll be free from his contract".

"So, if I am a manager, of course I would try and sign him", he added.

Can has played in 17 out of Liverpool's 22 Premier League games so far this season.
