OKC Thunder vs Brooklyn Nets- Mexico City

Paul George will miss his first game as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder when they face the Brooklyn Nets in Mexico City on Thursday night.

George is dealing with a right calf contusion - and reportedly had his calf wrapped in ice after Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz.

George is averaging 20.7 points and 5.8 rebounds. However, with Jerami Grant (hip) also sidelined, Patrick Patterson and Alex Abrines could be asked to play more minutes with Carmelo Anthony likely to play some small forward on Thursday.

The NBA has held games in London and Mexico City the past few years, always proving to be a major hit with overseas fans of the league.

The Nets have won three out of their last five games, including their last outing against the Atlanta Hawks, while Oklahoma City looks to finally build a rhythm and get back to the.500 mark with what would be a season-best four straight wins.
