The Next Game from Vanishing of Ethan Carter Devs Is

The next game from The Astronauts, the studio behind The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, finally has a trailer.

One of the big announcements tonight during The Game Awards was the reveal of a new game from Polish developer The Astronauts.

The people behind The Vanishing of Ethan Carter have revealed their next game: Witchfire. Entitled Witchfire, the game appears to be a briskly-paced (and rather good-looking) FPS, featuring dimension shifting and plenty of demon-slaying. The team at The Astronauts was founded by former People Can Fly founder and creative director Adrian Chmielarz, artist Andrzej Poznanski, and animator Michal Kosieradzki. You can check out the announcement trailer for Witchfire in the embed above. So this game is an indie team returning home in a sort. This tech allows us to 3D scan real-life objects - even entire buildings! - and use them as digital assets in our games for unparalleled visual quality, and natural, organic look and feel.

No release date has been attached the project, and no platforms besides PC have been announced.
