This is just the most recent hint that her time in the UFC has come to an end.

It's been almost a year since Ronda Rousey effectively ended her career after a TKO loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, and in the time since, the possibility of her joining the WWE has increased seemingly week by week.

Ronda Rousey is reportedly closer than we think to starting her career with WWE.

At that time, Rousey staged an "altercation" with WWE superstars Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley while standing alongside her real life friends Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, MMA fighter Ronda Rousey and WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative Paul "Triple H" Levesque appear on the red carpet of the WWE Mae Young Classic on September 12, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to two sources speaking with USA Today, Rousey is finalizing details of her move to WWE.

"I wouldn't want to see it", White told MMAjunkie.

Great vignette. I didn't know what to expect when I saw Baszler compete in the Mae Young Classic, but she thoroughly impressed me. "I wouldn't want it to happen".

"I'm excited to have the conversation with her and see where it goes". Along with the other Four Horsewomen members, Rousey has been training in the ring (at times at the WWE Performance Center), which was shown in a December 1 video that was previewing her personal website.

Rousey's ties to the WWE are numerous and speculation has been mounting that her apparently imminent jump to the 'E will lead to a marquee matchup at the upcoming WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next April.

Despite Rousey losing her last two UFC fights, she is still one of the most iconic fighters in the world and would be a big draw for WWE.

Overall, if this move comes to fruition, it's not so much a direct loss for the UFC given the likelihood Rousey wasn't returning to the cage for them.

If WWE didn't want to wait until WrestleMania 34 on April 8, then Rousey could appear at the 2018 Royal Rumble on January 28 at the Wells Fargo Center.
