Though remaining conservative for portions of the game, it seems as if Packers head coach Mike McCarthy finally removed Hundley's training wheels, so to speak, as the latter notably attempted a number of (comparably) more aggressive throws. Davante Adams and Randall Cobb have combined for 865 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Jordy Nelson has 33 receptions. Eyeing the red zone, Green Bay rushed Williams on two consecutive plays, allowing Hundley to rush for the first down - and then some - and set up for the score. In that game, the Lions averaged 1.9 yards per carry but converted 8 of 13 third-down plays anyway. After Hundley's second half against the Bears, it's an offense that once again has an identity (a watered-down version of its old one, but still) and a play-caller with newfound confidence in his QB. Against Chicago, McCarthy went back to the wide-ranging tactical changeups that he has employed before. "It just tightened up on me a little bit, I had to play around that".

Capers tempered the success, though.

Matthews, who recorded a tackle for loss, was a part of the seemingly endless Packers pass rush.

Though he got sacked five times, Chicago's Mitchell Trubisky threw for a career-high 297 yards. "You want a quarterback that commands the huddle. Stafford's one of the very top quarterbacks in terms of ball placement and timing and all those types of things", Capers said.

Looking at the Baltimore Ravens' schedule before the start of the season, there were certain games we circled. "Yeah, I mean, you know, you figure it out and you keep going".

Highlighting that second half were two big-time completions to Davante Adams.

Leading by 3-points in the fourth quarter, Hundley threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Devonte Adams to give the Packers a win. The BYU alumnus took the reins in the backfield after injuries claimed fellow rookie Aaron Jones (knee) and receiver-turned-halfback Ty Montgomery (ribs). Hundley was likely told he could take that chance downfield since an interception would essentially serve as a punt. Even Brett Hundley reportedly hurt his hamstring, although he finished the game and it didn't appear to limit his mobility. It was a breakout game for the fourth-round pick, who entered the day with only 11 carries, including two in the previous four games.

"When I watched the review, I felt like they made the right call", he said.
