Before 1945, Rana Daggubati announces his next project on Marthanda Varma

Telugu star Rana Daggubati, who played the antagonist "Bhallaladeva" in Baahubali, will makes his entry into Malayalam with Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, directed by K Madhu.

In his upcoming multilingual movie, the youth icon will be seen as Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, who was the king of Travancore from 1729 until his death in 1758. He is known for crushing the Dutch expansion at the Battle of Kolachel in 1741. The second movie will be a continuation of Marthanda Varma where the story will be that of the successor of the king. Actors from the United Kingdom and Holland will also be a part of the ensemble cast.

"The film will be directed by K.Madhu written by Robin Thirumala and Seven arts Mohan is the line producer on the film!" OMG. hoping that the movie would be an epic. Stunt choreographer Peter Hein, "Baahubali" music composer Keeravani, and Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty are part of the project too. The songs are penned by K Jayakumar, Shibu Chakravarthy and Prabha Varma; while the special effects will be overseen by the famous VFX consultant and 3D animator Jeemon Pulleli.

Besides the major production houses of the five different cinema industries of India, the Cine Sithstidio an Macna Narium Production Company of Italy will also be the production partners of this mega movie which will be the most expensive movie ever made in Malayalam.
