Cuphead has sold one million copies

Cuphead, the hit game from StudioMDHR, has sold more than 1 million units, according to the company, marking the platinum milestone for the title.

In a short blog post, Studio MDHR co-founders Chad and Jared Moldenhauer announced the milestone and took a moment to thank fans for the success of their visually distinctive run-and-gun platformer and talk briefly about the game itself. This process was achieved using traditional methods, including hand-drawn cel animation and watercoloring in the backgrounds.

We strongly suggest getting this game if you still haven't. In Cuphead you play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse unusual worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil. This game deserves even more exposure, plain and simple.

PlayStation 4 owners are left out of the fun due to Microsoft's heavy investment into the game's creation.

This figure will be both PC and Xbox One sales. It is unlikely that'll be changing any time in the near future.
