Brendan Rodgers has received a triple injury boost ahead of Celtic's clash with Bayern Munich

"Jozo, like Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong, is very unlikely to be involved against Dundee on Saturday but all three should train and hopefully be ready for Bayern Munich", said Rodgers.

All three withdrew from worldwide duty through injury and are unlikely to feature against Dundee on Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed that three of his key players are expected to be back in time to play a part in Celtic's clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Skipper Scott Brown, fellow midfielder Stuart Armstrong and defender Jozo Simunovic all missed worldwide duty while receiving treatment but are returning to training ahead of the European match. They've come through very, very well.

"They will join training, [it's] maybe too soon for Saturday, but certainly for Bayern Munich they should be fine".

"So it was never an injury that was going to keep him out for a sustained period of time but he felt something and he stayed behind to get treatment".

Rodgers was named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for September after guiding Celtic to three wins and a draw.

"We are still waiting on Tom Rogic, he has a way to go", Rodgers said.

"We had a real tough game at the end of it all against Hibs and we still came through that and managed to get a point, so I accept the award on behalf of the staff and the players and everyone at the club".

"You see the impact of him and Dedryck Boyata and what they give to the team when they play together in central defence, so that's huge for us".
