With the support of thousands of Denver residents, Annabel Bowlen and the Bowlen family led the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday morning at City Park. Broncos players, coaches and staff raised almost $50,000, an amount the Broncos organization matched. This year the organization held the walk at 8th and railroad instead of their usual spot Sertoma Park.

The event is a way to support families and friends of those struggling with those diseases. "They have us that they can call if they ever need anything".

"I think it was just fabulous, and I want to say to everybody that it was just special that they came out", Annabel Bowlen said. "They know that there's something they can do, they can stand with others that are impacted, they can share their commonalities, and most importantly they can donate money, that will one day end this disease through research", says Alzheimer's Association South Dakota State Executive Director, Leslie Morrow.
