Dragon truck which was developed by Space X - the only ship that has a special machine that can return to Earth. (1,700 kilograms) of cargo. Roughly 5.5 hours later, the Dragon splashed down off the coast of Baja, California, where SpaceX personnel aboard a recovery vessel picked up the spacecraft to bring it back to a shipping port near Los Angeles. NASA also sent up some ice cream for the astronauts.

For the vessel's return trip, the crew loaded the Dragon with "science samples from human and animal research, biology and biotechnology studies, physical science investigations, and education activities", NASA officials said in a statement. Splashdown will not be broadcast on NASA TV. Dragon brought a number of experimental payloads to the ISS, including a supercomputer built by HPE that is created to test whether software hardening alone, without any additional hardware changes vs. a standard supercomputer configuration, can keep the computer operating as intended in the harsh conditions of space.

This is the 12th successful ISS resupply mission SpaceX has conducted using one of its Dragon cargo capsules. This was the last new Dragon to deliver cargo to the space station.
