Chelsea missed out on a place in the Champions League last season but the Blues are now back in Europe's elite club competition after their Premier League title triumph last term.

The Spain worldwide has become a crucial part of Conte's back three, and even got on the scoresheet in a 6-0 Champions League thrashing of Qarabag on Tuesday. They must understand I trust them. Davide Zappacosta played very well and Eden Hazard is trying to find his best form.

Alan Pardew believes that Chelsea can make great inroads in the Champions League this season after dismantling Qarabag 6-0 in their opening group game of the campaign.

"I'm enjoying my football and I just want to say thanks to him, really".

"They were very well organised, they tried to close every space and then after the 2-0, the coach changed to four in the back and gave more freedom to [Michael] Lang, but more players in attacking areas".

"I am ready for the competition", Moses told the Evening Standard last week.

'I think it was a good start, a ideal start, for us to play our first game in the Champions League and win with a good result.' said the Italian.

"Now we have to continue, we have to rest tomorrow and then to start to think about the next game, a strong game, a tough game against Arsenal [on Sunday]".

Chelsea will go into Sunday's Premier League derby against Arsenal brimming with confidence.

"Also because we have to start the process to improve our players".

Blues boss Antonio Conte said: 'I think with Eden, we must have a bit of patience with him'.

"We must be calm and to do the best for the player and for the team".

"It's a very hard period for us". Otherwise we risk a bad injury to delay the situation. It was not expected by anyone, but the reaction of the team was very good.

"We made lots of errors".
