"This partnership will bring a dramatically improved experience to Airtel customers in India by leveraging the expertise of a company that has built one of the best mobile broadband networks in the world, " the release quoted Bharti Airtel chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal as saying.

SK Telecom will help Airtel to build a mobile network of global standards by identifying, monitoring and delivering all the necessary improvements which will help to enhance the network experience to an individual device basis.

"SK Telecom is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with Bharti Airtel". Their new partnership with Telecom major SK Telecom will help them decisively change the telecom scenario in the country and will put India at par with the most advanced broadband nations in the world.

"Strong partnerships have been a hallmark of Airtel's growth journey and we are proud to have always looked ahead to bring the latest technology to India".

Both the companies have pledged to work across several areas which will include developing the bespoke software to enrich the network experience by leveraging the advanced telecom tools from SK Telecom, which will include machine learning, big data and building custom tools.
