Motorola has sent out media invites for the event to be held on 24.08.17 at 10:00, but it did not states which smartphone they are going to launch.

The specifications mentioned give us a good details of this pretty smartphone. Previous reports have pegged a metal and glass affair, though the back could be plastic to cut down on costs.

Maybe Motorola is looking to announce the Moto Gs series in Brazil, or it maybe the Moto Z2 Force. Under the hood will be the Snapdragon 630 SoC carrying an octa-core CPU, and the Adreno 508 GPU. It's unknown whether all of these features will come to the Moto X4 but it's likely several of these will. The Moto X4 will also be IP68 dust and water resistant, offering additional protection for those with butter fingers. By the way, we're allegedly dealing with 12 and 8MP "main" shooters here, capable of various wide-angle tricks, a 120-degree field of view and depth of field effects, plus a 16-megapixel (!) selfie cam enriched with f/2.0 aperture. These leaked live images actually now confirm the images leaked were actually to reply on as the real images of Moto X4. The latest rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). At the front, we can see the display with thin bezels on the sides and below the display, we have the physical home button which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. This camera is capable of shooting 4k video at 30 frames per second or Full HD video at 60 frames per second.

The entire package will be powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also comes with Motorola's TurboCharging feature, which Motorola says will offers hours of power off just minutes of charge. The price of the new Moto X4 starts at € 350, and the question immediately arises - for what?
