The driver of a 4x4 collided with a barrier.

The man was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It is not known how many vehicles were involved or if there are reported injuries.

A man in his 20s has died after a crash in Dublin this morning.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 6667600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Emergency services are now dealing with the incident that happened on the Naas Road at around 6.30am.

A Garda spokesman told the Irish Sun that emergency services remain at the scene.

Gardaí have closed the Naas road past junction 2 at Kingswood following they have called a "serious collision".

Traffic is being asked to take alternative routes.

It is understood the accident happened shortly after 6.30 am this morning.
