Philippe Coutinho is one player who's name continues to crop up in reports, with Barcelona seeing an initial bid in the region of £75 million rejected for Liverpool's Brazilian playmaker, who, according to some reports, has handed in a transfer request at Anfield.

The France worldwide is a target for the Catalans, along with Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, as they aim to find a replacement for Neymar following his £200m move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Dembele has gone rogue at Dortmund after not turning up at training and has been suspended for the foreseeable future as a result, as he tries to push through a move to Barcelona. Chelsea must spend, spend, spend!

Sporting director Michael Zorc explained: "Ousmane Dembele was missing from BVB training today without permission and apparently decided voluntarily to do that".

The 20-year-old skipped training on Thursday and was swiftly suspended by the Bundesliga club for the weekend's German Cup's first round encounter against minnows Rielasingen-Arlen.

Peter Bosz's men won that game 4-0 but will not welcome Dembele back into the fold for their Bundesliga opener against Wolfsburg next weekend.

Dembele scored 10 goals and supplied 21 assists in 49 games for Dortmund in his debut season with the club.

Earlier this week, chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said a fee of €100m for the player was "in every case, not enough" and the Bundesliga club's asking price is reported to lie closer to €135m. "Whatever happens, happens. It's a hard situation".
