Govt committed to facilitate business community PM

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi arrived in Karachi on his first visit on Saturday after being elected to the country's top position recently, ARY News reported.

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and other high-ups are also accompanying the Prime Minister.

He commenced his trip by visiting the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, where he laid a floral wreath.

Shahid Khaqan said he would have visited Karachi even if MQM had not voted for him in the PM elections as Karachi is the hub of Pakistan's economy, told MQM-Pakistan head.

According to officials, the PM will chair a meeting on law and order situation in Karachi and meet business community members.

He is expected to meet prominent entrepreneurs and delegations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) at the Governor House.
