Bigg Boss Tamil most popular contestant Oviya Helen to be back in Kamal Haasan's show

Film actor Oviya alias Helen, who was a popular contestant in the "Bigg Boss" reality show hosted by veteran actor Kamal Haasan, has been summoned by the Nazarathpet police in connection with a complaint alleging that she attempted suicide inside the sets of the show.

It was earlier reported that a complaint has been filed at the Nazarathpet police station by an advocate stating that the producers of the show, Star Vijay, and the host Kamal Haasan are exclusively responsible for Oviya taking such a drastic step during the show.

The petitioner has asked for the show to be banned on the grounds of protecting Tamil culture.

Well it all happened when in one of the episodes, the contestants were required to perform a task where they had to behave like differently-abled individuals and score luxury budget points.

There were others by name "Oviya Army" who regretted the way she was forced to leave, citing emotional issues and attempting a suicide by jumping into the swimming pool, something which disturbed her fans greatly.

The Kamal Haasan hosted show is slowly emerging as the most controversial shows in the Indian Television history. The media reports also suggested that considering Oviya's popularity, the makers have even re-negotiated her remuneration for her come back.

In response, the Nazarathpet police Inspector Jaichandran said the complaint has been recorded in the Community Social Register (CSR).

Meanwhile, police told a daily that Oviya's personal secretary has denied about the suicide attempt.
